When it comes to nutrition, I want the greatest for my son. So when I saw this baby food maker, I had to have it. Becoming on sale at Babies R Us was a plus! Originally about $150 bucks, I scored it for about $40. I utilized it final night and it is remarkable. I sliced up some apples and placed them in the steam side, they were accomplished in about 10 minutes. Perfectly fork tender. Then I placed them in the blender side and added some canned pumpkin to make pumpkin apples sauce. Its delicious, although my son is still finding made use of to the pumpkin taste.Then for bed time I utilized the bottle warmer choice and that worked ideal as effectively. The bottle wasn't as well hot and it wasn't cold.You have to read the directions though, there are a lot of components to it. The water in the steam side does get hot so be careful. The blender side is a bit noisy, but it works effectively. Cleanup was hassle-free. I cant wait to use it once more!

My baby was born in September of 2010 so I didn't start off applying my maker until early February 2011. Considering that then I have gone through two machines and the third one particular just broke two days ago! I in no way had any difficulties with the steamer portion of the machine and it preformed as it was intended with no difficulties. All of my hatred towards this item is focused on the blender component which in my opinion is the most important portion of the machine! The initially two machines I returned to the shop (Babies R Us) was mainly because the rubber ring seal came out of the blender in the course of food processing and was chopped up into my baby's food. Wasted time, income and endangering my baby. The only cause I knew it occurred was considering that I ran the food by means of a sieve and discovered the plastic pieces. Following the seal was gone I nonetheless tried to use the machine but, of course, it then leaked everywhere just about every time I tried to approach purees. The third machine, that broke two days ago, is now thrown in my garage! I went to snap the blender into the base for processing, as you have to use the blender because of a safety feature, and the doggone tab snapped off rendering the blender totally nonfunctioning! This whole knowledge with this product has been a costly hassle! I've considering that switched to a stick blender and the microwave for creating my daughters food. It is in fact much less clean up, fees way less and is a heck of a lot much less most likely to break or ruin my baby's food. Don't waste your time with this product

I picked this bad boy up at Babies-R-Us for $37 and I think this is the similar as the $100 child chef. I've been working with it for a few weeks now and I'm pleased with this appliance's performance and haven't had any difficulties. As with any blender-kind item, you do need to have to make confident the rubber seal is seated effectively ahead of turning the unit on. I enjoy the convenience of having the steamer and blender all in one unit so I don't have to drag out several appliances. My daughter is loving the infant food I'm making and when she's content I'm happy
